About The Position

The Solution Architect will be part of Customer Success, leading the solutions delivered to our customers, with a heavy focus on integrations. This role is critical in maintaining the track record of success Gloat has had with its customers and will take a major role in leading projects from the technical aspects towards a successful delivery.


  • As part of this role, you will be required to manage end-to-end solutions originating from customer use-cases: discover, analyze, plan, approve, deliver, and communicate.
  • In this role, you will be initiating, researching, and extending Gloat’s product capabilities, with a major focus on integrations between Gloat and customer’s HR software
  • You will be communicating directly with customers, leading discovery sessions and building a strong relationship as their solutions advisor
  • You will also be guiding the customer as the subject matter expert to map where Gloat’s solution fits within their HR tech ecosystem both for the long and short term
  • You will be working closely with Gloat’s Product, R&D, Project Managers and Implementation teams.  
  • You will be responsible for providing detailed customer-facing specifications for your proposed solutions.
  • You will be expected to serve as a trusted advisor on technical matters, especially during customer’s discovery and testing phases, to our internal teams including Support, Implementation, and Product 
  • You will be expected to keep up with Gloat’s version releases, and constantly learn about the product and in order to be able to offer the best solution to our customers.
  • At times, you will be required to scope and estimate large-scale customization or integration projects during pre-sales activity
  • You will also be expected to engage with customers for ad-hoc deep dive discussions into Gloat’s AI capabilities and Skills ontology framework. 
  • You will be measured on meeting the timelines and quality of delivery, as well as customer’s satisfaction.

  • Proven track record of building strong customer relationships 
  • Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects 
  • Ability to solve problems through cloud technologies, leveraging the current product offering and providing work-arounds where appropriate
  • Ability to think of creative solutions and think on your feet

Collaboration and Communication

  • Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams; Strong presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences at different levels of organizations


  • To excel at this role, you must have a broad understanding of the technical aspects of cloud-based software, understanding/designing complex system architecture and integrations
  • 5-7+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales, technology solutions/practice development, architecture, design and/or implementation
  • 3-5+ years experience in the following areas of expertise: Cloud application development solutions (e.g. PaaS, API Management); Cloud application design, software architecture and practices; integrations (design/development/deployment)
  • Experience working with REST APIs
  • Previous experience with AWS


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field preferred
  • Certification in one of the following technologies preferred: Cloud, web application development, cloud-native application architecture (i.e. containers, microservices, API management), modern software development techniques like DevOps and CI/CD tool chains (i.e. Jenkins)
  • Experience with integration technologies (e.g. Boomi, Jenkins); and container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes);
