Product Training Specialist

About The Position

In this role, you’ll be a product Guru! We’re looking for our next superstar who is passionate about bringing Gloat’s product into the hands of our customers. You’ll work closely with Gloat’s product team to get the inside scope on upcoming releases and product enhancements, while also collaborating with the Customer Success team to understand which collateral is needed for their customers. You’ll be tasked with writing release notes, maintaining internal and external knowledge bases, and updating test scripts. This role also gives you the opportunity to organize and lead product training sessions for the Customer Success team and to our customers. Documentation of Gloat’s Product Version Release: 

  1. Liaising with Product to write out the customer-facing release notes, including technical documentation of the newly released features
  2. Maintaining Gloat’s Help Center up to date with new releases
  3. Management of Help Center translations 
  4. Ensuring each new release includes training materials, for both internal and external stakeholders
  5. Ensure our test scripts stay up to date with each new release
  6. Ownership of Gloat’s internal product knowledge base and ensuring it’s up to date
  7. Managing and organizing all collateral for new features for the CS and Implementation teams


  1. Responsible for leading CS’s new employee product training, including maintaining and updating its content and documentation
  2. Prove as a general CS knowledge resource 
  3. Create product how-to videos
  4. Create facilitator guides 
  5. Lead customer facing training sessions when needed


  • Native English speakers only (A MUST) 
  • Writing and documenting is your zone of genius! Writing, phrasing, re-writing, optimizing text, making something boring into something interesting — all of these must be your passion areas!
  • 1-2 years experience in a tech company in similar roles
  • Ability to translate something ambiguous into a coherent and exciting piece of text
  • Knows how to liaise between departments, working closely with Product and CS
  • Excellent at time management and meeting deadlines
  • Independent and reliant employee who goes the extra mile!
