The Job:

The Senior Business Development Representative (Senior Sales Development Representative) is responsible for strategic outbound sales activities to Fortune 500 companies. In this role the Sr BDR/SDR will work closely with their Account Executives to research and develop a strategic sales plan by mapping out targeted accounts. The Sr. BDR/SDR will execute the sales plan alongside the Account Executive with the goal of engaging and scheduling a call with the target contact.

Responsibilities

You own the full Business Development process including:

  • Play a primary role in the onboarding and training of new SDRs
  • Research, share, and set standards for best practices
  • Assist in leading team meetings and share information and updates with the team in partnership with Manager as needed
  • Identify new and creative ways for outreach
  • Prospecting leads
  • Sending email campaigns to prospects
  • Contacting prospects and leads through various channels (Email, Social, Calling)
  • Scheduling calls with prospective accounts
  • Conducting introductory calls
  • Working out of a CRM database
  • Maintaining a full pipeline of leads
  • Meet or exceed weekly metrics and quarterly KPIs

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of previous prospecting experience targeting fortune 500 companies
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven strong work ethic
  • Desire to excel and advance in a career
  • Competitive attitude
  • Preferred experience working with executive-level buyers for SaaS solutions
