There are two kinds of workplace technology: tools that improve the status quo, and those that change the game entirely. Talent marketplaces are part of that select latter category. 

It’s become clear that we’re going to need the game-changers to thrive in the new world of work. But while these technologies hold tremendous potential, they also raise a lot of questions.

All Eyes Are Now On Talent Marketplaces

Just a few years ago, the only question leaders might have had was, “What is a talent marketplace?” Platforms were in their infancy and they were largely unknown.

The COVID-19 pandemic changed all of that. Suddenly, agility became the ultimate competitive advantage. Businesses needed to rapidly pivot to keep pace with unprecedented disruption. And talent marketplaces were uniquely positioned to make these changes possible, fast.  

As awareness rose, more questions started to emerge. Leaders wanted to know how the talent marketplace worked, what went into the matching process, and the results they could expect. But while there were lots of questions, there weren’t many answers. Until now…

Introducing Gloat Ask Me Anything

Here at Gloat, we’ve been answering these questions since 2018. Back then, we had the exciting opportunity to work with two incredible partners, Unilever and Schneider Electric, to design the first enterprise talent marketplaces. 

Since the conversation around these platforms is only getting louder, we knew it was time to share the knowledge we’ve built over the years. So we’ve decided to launch Gloat Ask Me Anything (AMA), a video series that will get to the bottom of the biggest questions about the talent marketplace.
