Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a NOC / Incident Manager Team Lead to establish and lead our Incident Management and NOC operations. This role is critical in ensuring high availability, rapid response, and continuous improvement of our production systems. You will manage a team responsible for real-time monitoring, incident coordination, and post-incident analysis, while also working closely with SREs, engineers, and leadership to enhance reliability.
Responsibilities
- Lead & mentor a small but growing team of NOC and incident management professionals.
- Own the incident response process, ensuring fast, effective, and well-documented resolution of production issues.
- Follow and refine monitoring & escalation protocols, reducing noise and improving actionable alerts.
- Collaborate with engineering & SRE teams to prevent incidents through proactive improvements.
- Define SLAs, SLOs, and incident reporting standards, providing leadership with key insights.
- Drive post-mortem reviews, ensuring learnings are applied to system improvements.
- Establish 24/7 operational readiness, Participate and optimize on-call rotations and shift structures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in incident management, NOC leadership, or related roles.
- 1+ years in a leadership or team lead role, managing a NOC or incident response team.
- Deep understanding of incident response frameworks & real-time monitoring.
- Strong familiarity with observability & alerting tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, etc.).
- Experience managing escalation processes, RCA methodologies, and post-mortem reviews.
- Ability to analyze incidents & performance trends, driving continuous reliability improvements.
- Strong collaboration skills, working with SRE, DevOps, and engineering teams to enhance system resilience.
