Gloat is hiring an experienced and driven Enterprise Sales Account Director to join our New York office. In this key role, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with enterprise-level clients, driving revenue growth, and shaping our strategic approach in a dynamic market.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead a multi-year joint account strategy and roadmap with the assigned account.
  • Define and build an effective joint governance model ensuring alignment and sponsorship across the account.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers and Gloat executives to support priority initiatives and long-term account growth
  • Lead the communications of business performance and associated value to the LOB leaders and HR  team members
  • Partner with Customer Success to drive adoption of products and innovations within the account through thoughtful development of business cases that map back to customer priorities and the detailed strategy
  • Grow revenues across upsells, cross-sells and expansions and lead renewals negotiations.
  • Lead and mentor a global account team of a small group of people to ensure the customer realizes value from their investment in Gloat
  • Collaborate with Gloat’s innovation group to execute a framework to identify, evaluate, and complete opportunities to co-innovate to address emerging market needs
  • Lead and participate in critical customer-facing activities including executive engagement, company visits, EBRs, and ideation workshops 
  • Ideate with, and support, Gloat field events marketing functions to drive engagement and events for the account


Requirements

  • 8+ years of validated experience in selling enterprise SaaS, with strategic account management expertise demonstrated through thought leadership.
  • Success will be defined by long-term customer retention (measured via NDR), global revenue growth, and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Extensive experience in B2B enterprise SaaS business models with the ability to structure and negotiate multi-faceted agreements.
  • A background in enterprise transformation and change management, with referenceable supporting examples.
  • Proven success in selling digital transformations for HR organizations is highly regarded.
  • Experience managing strategic accounts and engaging with C-level and LOB executives.
  • Outstanding executive presence and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver compelling points of view through product demonstrations, solutions, and sales pitches.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams within Gloat (Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing) and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative, problem-solving approach to evolving business challenges.
  • Highly motivated, independent self-starter with integrity, professionalism, and a team player mentality.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Experience working in startups is highly regarded.
  • We work hybrid so we are looking for candidates who are willing to commute to our NYC office at least 3 times a week.

Gloat provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting total pay for this role is 280,000-320,000 USD OTE.
